We invented a device for quality control of doped optical fiber. The device is working based on the side-light analysis. So the device is completely nondestructive and the results are more accurate than the other systems. Another advantage of this device is that instead of taking ~2 houres of a technician for the quality control test the device can do the same test fully automatically in less than 10 minutes.
